![]() The combination of living and dining space with kitchenette along with two full baths, and a half-bath made it easy to share the space. The accommodation was a “two bedroom” suite, which is actually a standard room adjoining a king suite. We were travelling with two adults, two kids (tweens) and a senior. However, they work hard to keep the beach itself clean and graded with a tractor every morning. The surf is rough and the destruction of the breakwater system has created a seaweed problem. About the beach: don’t plan on doing a lot of ocean swimming. ![]() These Bali beds are first-come-first-served for non-members, but we could reserve for the week. On the beach, we were served by Erbie our beach butler who catered drinks, towels and organised the Bali beds. He assisted in clearing up an unfortunate room assignment (avoid the far side of building 18 if you are looking for peace and quiet). As Exotic members, our service was further enhanced by our concierge Kevin. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, these two were on the ball and ready to help with anything. We had an excellent team of butlers: Luiz and Gerardo. But what sets Generations apart from other Karisma properties we have experienced is the service. The food was consistently creative and well-prepared. Although there are only a few restaurants, they were all great. ![]() As it turns out, we got lucky! My impression is that this small property punches above its weight. This time we could not stay at the adults only Royale, so we opted for Generations. This trip brought us back to the El Dorado family of resorts after many years.
